I am totally serious.
Here's one of the stages. It demonstrates how the game works, as well as giving you an idea of how amazing it looks and how great the soundtrack is. The look owes a lot to Burton and Gorey, and the music has some Elfman influences, but covers a wide variety of styles.

This is seriously one of the best games I have played in a long time. It'll cost you about 15 dollars. It is well worth it, as this game is better than a lot of the crap you'll pay 40 bucks plus for in a store.
It's essentially a puzzle game, a physics simulation, but anybody can enjoy it. Download it...support the work of the awesome guys who made this, and hopefully encourage them to make more games like it.
Most importantly...ENJOY!

2. This is true. A lot of people have been pirating it, though, which is a shame.
The game is cheap as it is.

3. Good, 'cause I can't afford a console.
Hell, I don't even have a TV to plug a console into. :P

8. On that note, to ring in the new year I got off my ass and started working on games again.
Just putting the finishing touches on an old project for now, although I'm dabbling in some new stuff too. :)

10. Well, the old project was a mashup of two classic arcade games
Arkanoid/Breakout and Space Invaders. I call it Break Invaders.

What I'm dabbling in on the side right now is an attempt at doing a graphical MUD interface of some kind. Nothing too fancy, I'm not expecting to singlehandedly make the next WoW. :)

12. Well, since I suck as an artist, I'm hoping I can find at least one or two people to help with that.
For now I just want to get an engine working. I've gotten it to connect and be able to read and send data. I just have to A) fix the code so it doesn't freeze every time it runs out of stuff to read. Whoops. :P And B) get some kind of parsing system so it can transfer usable data to all the other players and recieve said data from other players.

Also I'm gonna want to make another program for design as well. Something that will be able to make rooms and create exits on the MUD side as well as designing them on the client side.

I'm planning on making the client do 99% of the work, since MUD servers ain't exactly made for the heavy loads that a regular MMO server does. I'll probably have it work a lot like Guild Wars, with almost everything outside of cities being an instance.

I now have a program that can connect to, read and send messages to a MUD type server.

Which means the framework is in place for me to make a graphical MUD client. Or in this case, MUCK. 'cause that's what I'm goin' for. :) I'm more familiar with fuzzball/winfuzz servers than any other kind, so that's what I'm using.

6. Nice seeing a game made with love and heart, and not made in a corporate boardroom
with greed and no soul.

It shows.
