3. if they left it at that, I'd be fine.
He is a stud. The pregame coverage turned thirty seconds with the guy into a life-altering event.

6. Hey now!
He'd be the fourth best quarterback in a real conference! Maybe third best. On a good day. Definitely in the top half of the Pac 10.

8. If Tebow were a self-proclaimed Atheist, would the announcers say...
that he is an "impressive young man." Just wondering.

11. Another Florida gadget QB
Like his predecessor at UF, Danny Wuerffel, Tebow isn't going to cut it as an NFL QB.

12. No kidding. He's an impressive player, but come on.
The announcers were describing meeting him in person as a life-altering event and treating him as though he were the only player on his team making anything happen. There were several teammates who were playing pretty darned good games, but you'd never have known it. Their running back was playing injured, their offensive line was setting everything up for both of them, their receivers were pulling down passes that NFL receivers would have missed, yet somehow Tim Tebow was the only one on the field.

And how about their defense, stopping OU every time it was critical? There was one interception late in the first half that stopped an OU drive and killed them just as they were starting to roll. Bradford through a pass dead on the money, and his receiver grabbed it then let it slip through his fingers. Even in the NFL 9.9 times out of ten that ball would have hit the ground, but the Florida CB grabbed it in the split second between it slipping out of the receiver's grasp and when it would have normally hit the ground. One of the greatest interceptions I've ever seen, but since it wasn't Tim Tebow, the announcers forgot about it within a couple of plays.

Good game, but those announcers need to be working high school. Or FOX News instead of FOX Sports.
