Stern's on fire right now
He's reading an article on air about Clear Channel's connections to Bush and how his suspension is all about censorship and Bush. It's amazing!! He equated it to Nazi book-burning.

2. And I would put good money on the fact that....
...a large bulk of his listeners are the epitome of normally apolitical swing voters. Normally not caring about politics or any of that stuff but when it affects them directly will come out. I have no doubt that in New York and NJ he has tipped elections.

3. I started a thread in General discussion
This is important. Will Pitt lost a lot of credibility here in my opinion because he became an apologist for CC and Imus-Kiss ass- Kerry's cowardly position about Stern

4. You disagree with Pitt on an issue; therefor he loses "credibility"? Wow

Talk about a low bar. Please explain how his failing to render martyr status to a guy who regularly degrades and exploits women, minorities, and the disabled makes whatever Pitt writes less "credible" in your eyes.

7. I see both sides. There is great value to Stern for the left at this time
and I have no doubt he can swing at least a million votes across the country, including Ohio.

Don't sweat about Clear Channel. It is true they had the right to drop his show, but the move will hurt them more than help them. They made an enemy out of Stern, and some smaller syndicate can now pick up Stern's show and the profit.

Those are GOOD things. I was all ready to fight it out against Clear Channel, but now I see the benefits for our side.
