Okay, who should I support - Bush or Nader?
Because no matter who I support loses. My history of Primary/Presidential votes include:

McGovern
McCarthy
John Anderson
Mondale
Dukakis
Bradley
Gore

Bringing me to this year when my support for Dean, then Edwards, obviously contributed to their downfalls. I am led to the unmistakable conclusion that I am a HUGE JINX (the Clinton votes were just a fluke). I am too fucking scairt to even WHISPER any support for Kerry.

If I can't get 'em elected, then, by God, I must use my power in another way. Yaaaay, Bush! You go, Ralphie!

3. What the hell is so bad about Kerry?
So he's not pure. Big fat stinking deal.

Step One: Impeach, convict, and imprison Bush.

Step Two: Cripple the Republican Party and the neo-Con movement.

Step Three: Push toward the Progressive side of the political spectrum that remains.

Step Four: Enjoy life in utopia.

It's do-able.

11. Wake me from the nightmare
If it "don't" happen, then the most progressive, angry, non-pink-tutu-wearing, backbone-posessing Democrat in the USA will be able to help.

"Follow the Leader" is what got us into so much trouble in the first place.

4. Eileen, I sympathize entirely with you.

My track record in Presidential elections is:
1972 - McGovern
1976 - Carter
1980 - Carter
1984 - Mondale
1988 - Dukakis
1992 - Clinton
1996 - Clinton
2000 - Gore

3 out of 8 is pretty awful but remember this election is all about the future of our country.

Ohio is going to be a key state in November IMHO, so please vote for John Kerry even if you have to hold your nose while doing so.

It's absolutely imperative that the Chimpster and the Dickhead be removed in November along with as many of their cohorts in the House and Senate.

I just want to be able sing "Happy Days are Here Again" on November 2, 2004.

8. Actually that's 4 out of 8
The SCOTUS affirmed the BFEE steal in 2000. < sigh >

I have the exact same record as you, moh.

6. Gore didn't lose
he won by over half a million votes nationwide, and in 9 out of 10 types of recounts, if the fucked up supreme court hadn't stopped it, he would have won florida.

So. you are wrong.

You are right.

10. I feel your pain...
and my voting record is almost identical.

Even voted for Humphrey when he almost beat Nixon. That one was close.

Did vote for Carter the first time, though, I think. The second run it was Anderson. Probably shoulda stayed with Carter, as if it would have made a difference...

There was definitely some other mojo working for Clinton. My votes for him both times didn't hurt him at all.
