2. Wednesday. (or Tuesday depending upon interpretation.)
Edited on Fri Jan-02-09 09:07 AM by Chan790
Tuesday is Twelfth Day aka Epiphany. Jan 6. While no longer celebrated widely, by Christian tradition, Epiphany marks the end of the Holiday season and the twelve days of Christmas. (So it really depends upon one's tradition.)

I hate when really cool traditions are lost from the middle ages. Twelfth Night (Jan. 5th) is neat. Merrymaking, song, masquerade festivities, feast and libations. Then Twelfth Day you're supposed to get up and take down all your Christmas decorations. It's bad luck to leave them up.

ETA: Recognition that not everybody celebrates the same traditions.

4. President's Day and MLK Day are the outliers.
Anyone who still doesn't feel like celebrating President's Day, though, will get no argument from me.

7. Tuesday when my kid goes back to school...
although it kind of feels like they are over today. I think I've had enough as it is - I woke up with the flu yesterday and that seemed a signal that I had had enough fun for one year....
