Remember Jack "Stargazer" Horkheimer?
The guy who tells you about astronomy with Tomita's version of First Arabesque playing in the background? Well, he is still at it, and you can see what stars and planets are visible tonight at his website. I loved this guy when I was a kid, and I'm glad to see his is still around.

1. My dear nytemare!
I was almost afraid to click here, because I was afraid he might have died...

I am thrilled to hear that he's still around, and still doing his thing!

We used to run across him from time to time, on my PBS station, I think...

A very cool and smart guy!

:hi:

2. Nope, he is alive and kicking!
I just saw him on my PBS station. Usually, I watch it at different hours, so I had no idea he was still on. I was glad to see the fella!

5. His vignettes are still sometimes shown on Pittsburgh's WQED
Haven't seen one in a while, but I'm sure that I saw one within the last six months or so.

Keep. Looking. Up!

12. He looked healthy as ever.
He must have been young when I was a kid and saw him, because now he looks the same age as then...LOL.

14. Grew up with him @ the Museum of Science in Coconut Grove (Miami)
I was quite the frequent visitor to the Museum of Scoence - and especially its Planetarium - as a child in the 70s.

I clicked on the thread to make sure he hadn't died!
