Gah. This is what happens when you wait to sign up for classes.
It's bad enough that my wacky schedule makes it almost impossible for me to FIND classes that I need/want. Right now I'm only registered for 6 credit hours for next semester. It'll be 9 if I get off the wait list for a class that SAID it was open, but apparently isn't.

I don't even know if I'll be able to be a full time student next semester. They just don't have classes I need when I'm available. And because I waited too long, the one that would put me over the top and give me a full 12 counting the wait-listed class is full. :banghead:

1. i hated trying to get registered for classes
especially in my freshman and sophomore years because we registered later than the upper classmen. i think :banghead: is very appropriate for this situation.

i hope you can get what you need

3. My main problem is that I also take care of my grandparents full time
AND work. So my schedule is all twisted up to begin with.

2. I know, it's awful
I think that is one of the reasons I eventually dropped out of college to begin with. I wasn't able to go to the school I wanted (due to financial concerns). I ended up going to a local college that I never really was interested in. I went there, got my schedule. Had one class in the morning, another class three hours later, another class an hour later; one class the next day at 12:00pm, then my last class at like 4:30pm. Yeeeeeeeeeeeah, no.

I think the way most colleges do their schedules essentially encourage people to not attend.

The only advice I can give to you is that if you can register yourself (online, at any time), keep checking the class schedule, every day. That's finally how I got my class schedule the way I wanted, I checked all hours of the day, at midnight, etc. I finally had the classes that I wanted to open up, and I got in there.

Actually I'm glad you made this thread, since I'm going back to college now (transferring to said college that I dropped out of before due to their awful schedule), and I need to go check and see if any of the class times I really want have opened up. Probably not :(

Good luck!
