2. The top pic - the orange flags
There was a park in MN, the walking path had the flags set up.

I don't recall which park.

It was some exhibit... I don't recall why...

I recall it was in the twin cities...

Rice Park?

4. I think what he does is cool....
I don't know what to call it-- I'm sure he has a name-- but ephemeral juxtapositions of man made materials, usually delicate ones, with landscapes is kinda cool, I think.

It doesn't appeal to my personal sense of aesthetics, at least not as Cristo does it, but I think it's cool that someone thinks in those terms and is willing to try it.

7. Yeah, I'm not really a fan
I've read a few interviews of his once and got the impression that:

1) he spends *much* more time wrangling financing and permits than he does either conceptualizing or executing his art.

2) Anyone who interferes with, or even doesn't like one of his projects is a soulless philistine who just doesn't get Art.
