Did you know that I am "da Coolio bomb"?
That was the written response of one of my students during student evaluations last December.

I just received my evaluations from last semester--one said "Prof. Jchild is da coolio bomb!"


I didn't know if that is an insult or a compliment; however, after asking some of my students this semester, I find that indeed it is a great compliment. I listen to NPR--I guess I need to brush up on teen culture, though.

I am pretty proud. I had no bad evaluations--they were all pretty great. Teaching is my passion.

Anyone can say "she's great", but "da coolio bomb" is unique. I would inform your son of this at first opportunity. I bet he laughs.

I could tell WAY back.

There is another BOMB you might not want a student to be thinking, btw....Beat Off Memory Bank. That could have been just a regional thing in LA, though.
