My preparer put the wrong social security # on my tax return

and I failed to see it when I signed and mailed it.

That, plus the notice they sent me has been floating around the US Mail, taking the grand tour of the country, for a couple months.

Fortunately I just had a talk with an IRS guy in Philly, and he was cool about telling me what to do.

Yeah, I know- I'm the world's worst businessman. Shit happens and hopefully ya don't get audited.
