Stupid ice.

So, I've got two computers up and running. This one and my work laptop (with e-mail open).

I miss posting on DU during the day. I feel lost. :D

11. Well you should have moved to Delaware - we never get snow anymore
we get slush & slop but never snow.

And we're blue too

And Bob Marley once worked at the Chrysler Plant here in Delaware

12. My company has no jobs there.
And that is farther from my SO than Seattle. :)

Other than that, it's a great suggestion.

20. I do have to say it's better working in sweats than having to dress for the office.
Even if I do get to wear jeans this week. :)

8. You're right. I shouldn't blame the car.
I should go out and treat it to an oil change when the weather gets better. ;)

15. I dragged my sorry ass to work yesterday.
Parking in an unplowed parking lot was nice.

Hey, I tried. I made the effort. But, when you have the option, why mess with it if you don't have to?

21. Hey, good on you for doing the smart thing
This town has no clue when it comes to snow. The only good thing about Ohio, where I lived for 3 years, is that they know how to handle snow.

22. I worked from home on Friday. We went home early Thursday.
I'm lucky to have options. Too many people don't. In fact, our hourly employees with no vacation time are taking unpaid time off if they can't get in.

24. It started right up, just no grippy on the ice.
The car is 15 years old and had never been in the snow until now. Actually, all things considered, it did fine.
