What words/names/phrases are you sick of at the moment?
I've spent last 4-5days reading for and writing an essay on the Hundred years war, most notably why the French won, so I'm sick of :

Charles VII
Henry V
Treaty of Troyes/Arras/Tours
Normandy/Burgundy
Battles of Agincourt/Orleans/Formigny/Castillon
Anyone with the title Duke

I'm sure ill get over it though, once I get my result back. :)

11. The fact of the matter is . . . (phrase I'm sick of)
BTW I heard that a raised middle finger originally came from the 100 Years War--don't know it it's true, but the story goes that the English were wiping the French out with their longbows, so when the French would capture English warriors, they would cut off their fingers so they couldn't fire arrows. Then, the story goes, the English started holding up their middle fingers when in battle with the French to show them they could/would fire on them effectively.

What happened to "you're welcome"? Several weeks ago, a cashier gave me change for my purchase(dinner for four) and I said "thank you"....her response.."no problem"........my thought...well no sh.., I hope it's not a problem to take my money.

14. I think I might implode, big time if I hear the phrase "push the envelope"
one more time! That phrase doesn't make a bit of sense. It's stupid.

Also, last night at the gym, I was talking to a woman who kept saying, "you know, as I was saying". She must have said it 20-30 times in the five minutes I was talking with her. Actually, I starting feeling sort of sorry for her, since she had no idea how often she kept saying it...."you know, as I was saying".

I have a coworker who has the least amount of understanding or problem solving skills when it comes to computers that I've ever seen. I'm his techie person, so he gives me a ton of questions, and at the end of every technical questions he uses the 'period' of "please advise"

I keep LaRT'ing him but he won't stop!!!!!
