Okay, I know all you Murkin' think that, like, all of Canada is some kind of permanent freezer. However, Vancouver doesn't usually get this cold. Our days are mostly around 33 to 40 degrees and maybe it freezes at night.

So, needless to say the entire City is frozen and scared.

That's uhm... 1? Which is bitterly cold by local standards, it got down below freezing overnight a week or so in a row when I was a kid and people still talk about it. Nobody here knows how to wrap a pipe or anything, so it may be kind of interesting tomorrow.

...I grew up in Massachusetts, so I have experienced sub-zero temperatures, but I also moved to California when I was 16 and that changes everything. The last few mornings here have been around 40 degrees and it feels like I'm back in New England again.

There is something missing from this. Chicago has had early cold snaps. A day last week had a high of about 10-15 degrees. We're having a high of 5 tomorrow. Pull up your big girl panties and deal with it. You're in Canada, not Bermuda.
