1. I believe they try 3 times...
...and then they hold it at the nearest facility for up to a week for pickup. Or maybe it's UPS that does that, but I think FedEx is the same way. If a delivery-attempt notice was left, there should be a number you can call to find out for sure.

5. You are right.
I couldn't call to find out because I didn't want someone in this house to hear. The person I am having the package delivered to is normally someone who never leaves or does anything. Now two days in a row he was out! arrggghhh

2. Does he have the tracking number?
He can call their toll free number and try to make arrangements in case he misses the third try: 1.800.463.3339.

3. Have you seen "Say Anything"?
It's like that, but more aggressive.

8. Is that a movie?
I am not up on movies or teevee. I spend all my entertainment on the internets, mostly here. How is that for pitiful?

10. A classic, early John Cusak, in which a paperboy goes to vast lengths to collect $2.00
including putting skis on his bike to follow John's character down a treacherous path.

Hope you get your shipment.

12. Really? Am I synthesizing my Cusaks?
But what about the scene in Say Anything when he destroys the evil hotel room by setting it ablaze? Huh?

4. is this FedEx "home delivery"?
The kind where they contract people out to deliver the packages? It's such a fucking scam. I was waiting on a package a few years ago, and it didn't show up when it was supposed to. I tried to track them down, which was really hard, because there is no number to call to talk to anyone about this kind of stuff. When they eventually were tracked down, they claimed that they'd tried to deliver the package, but that no one was home, which was a lie. I had been home all day, waiting for them. No slip was left - just a bald faced lie. I will never use FedEx again.

7. No just regular ground.
But it is a big heavy box and needs a signature. They left the other normal size box that didn't need a sig at his door yesterday. He is kind of clueless and shouldn't be driving around, if they miss him again I'm going to have to find somebody to go pick it up and everybody I know up there works regular office hours.

9. I think it's three but it's been so long since I've dealt with them that I'm not sure.
