"Tell Me Off - $1"
I am not kidding - on 5th Ave and about 36th street in New York yesterday, at about 6pm, I saw a street person with that sign propped in front of him, listening to a lady yelling at him.

1. We have very frank signs here.
One time in Brooklyn, I saw a homeless guy with a sign asking for money, but the sign said, "I'm not gonna lie. I need it for drugs."

It had a weird clarity to it.
