I'm stuck in the house with an insane person...no joke
My Ex has lost his goddamn mind. He got really drunk and...well, called me a crazy bitch, told me to get the fuck out of my own house, and a load of other insane stuff.

I'm in shock. He has NEVER acted like this is the 17 years we've known each other.

And you know what set him off? When I said "Y'know, you were friendlier 2 beers ago..." B/c he gets really hostile and cruel when he drinks.

Now, he's sitting in my bedroom listening to Love Will Tear Us Apart, by Joy Division, and crying.

Um, I can't get out of this place soon enough.

The crazy is strong in this one. Oh, and I'm not allowed back in my own bedroom ever again, according to him.

:wtf:

Less than 36 hours until I get back to my apartment.

1. I used to do that kind of stuff, too
It turned out that I really was insane, the beer just brought it out of me better than sobriety. It's a good thing that guy is your ex. It sounds like he's got serious problems.

4. He does, and I can't fix them
He just called me a "patronizing fuck"

I'm done. My life is fucked up enough. I don't need this.

7. That's right
He will wake up tomorrow feeling terrible and he will try to apologize and he will say that he was drunk and he didn't really mean it. Don't go for that.

2. This
is why you broke up.

There's a reason why he's the ex. x(

3. Thank you!
Exactly. It really is. Although, this is new. He never drank when we were together. And, the thing is, I really love him. He's my best friend in the world. BUT, he fucked up royally tonight. I'm not forgiving that. EVER.

6. Before you say you won't forgive him EVER?
About 5 years ago I had a fall-out with four friends.

I am fine with three of them; one of them I will never forgive.

Sometimes things take time. :pals:

8. I'm confused.
Why aren't the police forcefully removing your ex and at least sending him to his own home? x(

10. Alcohol fucks people up really bad
especially SOME people, if you know what I mean. I do **not** believe alcohol brings out the "real" person. It screws up the head, the emotions, flushes the inhibitions down the toilet, and pent-up frustrations that have nothing to do with who is in closest physical proximity come up and when repressions come up that way they don't probably know what's eating them either.

Never say never, I say. And it is possible he will not remember tomorrow what he said today. When I said that I couldn't remember the night before I was not lying.

11. Sounds like he still may have some feelings for you other than
the friendly kind. Of course I don't know y'alls situation.

Like you really needed this after the week you've had. I know you will be glad to be home!

13. Yowzers! Sounds like someone has some control impulses.

He's acting out of pure id there. Are you sure it's safe to be there right now?
I seriously think spending the night in your car would be preferable to sharing a roof with someone who's mean drunk and crowding into your space.

That's seriously a yellow light on life's highway. My advice is plan a back door exit now just in case you need it later.

Good luck, 200 year old lady.
