What a fun quiz from the UK

Alas! My only gap was in Politics---of all things :wow: I guess I need to brush up on that House of Lords stuff.

17. I should have known that he was too early for webs,
and that people were still enthused with the development of game theories in that period.

No, I had no hope with the something or other slumber question and would have NEVER guessed Hume.

P.S. whoever that was

16. I get to brag...
not only did I have no gaps...I got every single question right.

(In reality my gap is in math. I can barely do arithmetic...cost of having an near-encyclopedic memory of minutia, I guess.)

18. Wow! And I thought I was cool with no gaps
But 2/3 in everything but the arts. And philosophy was all guesses.

I'm math-damaged too, Chan - I blame my mother for dropping me on one side of my head when I was little.

I got the highest SAT score in my entire HS on verbals on the SAT, and the lowest (from among the honors people) in math, and that was AFTER some pretty intense tutoring. (I used to get help from the stoners in math class (stoners are really good at metrics, for one thing).

After a whole year of trigonometry, I scored lower in Trig on a college placement exam then friends who had never even taken Trig

I almost didn't graduate calculus because even with help, tutoring, and repeated attempts, I couldn't grasp even the rudiments of calculus and kept failing. Thank God for the Penn State football team - I took the class with them, and all tests were True/False, and a 51 was a passing grade. Luckily, the last chapter was matrices (that's not calculus, that's Excel....) and I got a 100% on that, which boosted my average above 50, so I finally passed and could graduate.

Sorry for the rant - to this day, math still gets me.

20. Economics, History, Religion
I sucked at those, but did fine on the rest. Oddly enough, I got 3 out of 3 on the Politics and Philosophy parts.

21. Economics and History

Economics is no surprise - I've never taken a single course or done any independent reading in the subject.
History I thought I'd do better in - damn my lousy American education!
