All this bail-out/Loan Money; where is it coming from? The Government? Is it money that we already have (?!) or, is it to come from Taxes that have yet to be paid? Or what? How? Who? When? B-)

How is all this going to work out?:scared:

I guess when/if we Loan it (Auto Industry), it is to be paid back by the borrowers, right?
Where is it coming from in the first place?:shrug:

If it is a Bail-Out (Wall Street), doesn't that mean that we, the taxpayers are giving them the money and they don't have to pay it back?:shrug:

Am I the only confused person who does not understand? :crazy:

After watching this economic situation develop over the past 4-6 years, and seeing how seemingly ignorant of it most of the people "in charge" seem to be, I am starting to think they are unbelievably stupid.

5. The only answer I know is that I have watched several of my

friends and family members lose their jobs, homes and self worth over this, and something has to give.

I only wished people had cared more about it 3 years ago when I started posting threads in GD. :(

11. I started talikng about this years ago...back in the mid-90's

all those house loans at 125% value of the already inflated "appraisal" of the real estate. At the same time manufacturing jobs were going at a staggering rate. The tech "bubble".
