What is your biggest fear?
Mine is driving. I want to learn how but I freeze up every time I try because I am afraid I will hit somebody.

11. Very sorry to hear that
I lost my best friend in February to a car accident. His birthday is on Thursday, and he would have been 19. I don't really know what to do to celebrate it, though...any suggestions on how to do that? I just know that I have to do something.

20. Ya, it was Brandon
I would...except a lot of our common friends went pretty crazy...it's really sad, actually.
I have a big purple candle I will be burning, and I might go to the crash site. I definently will hang out with a least one common friend.
You must have heard it on the news and stuff in February, right? That's how you knew who I was talking about?

32. I'm sorry to hear about your friend...

When we lost two friends in high school in a car accident, we spent some time listening to their favorite music, candles, putting together photo albums, writing letters to them to leave at the crash site...

2. High places.
And as an extension of that, that LK will be in danger someplace high and I'll be too paralyzed by fear to help him. It's already happened once, luckily somebody else was nearby to retrieve him before he came to any harm.

21. Thanks, Oedi. Did you catch Craig Ferguson on Monday?
He was just back from his mother's funeral and talked about that for the whole show. He behaved like a son anyone would be proud of.

37. Yup, I did
It would seem Ferguson has some Jack Paar in him — his show is somewhat cathartic for him.

I appreciate the opportunity to see celebs being "human."

Doesn't matter what causes 'em. The cause isn't the source of the fear.

14. Surprisingly tough question
I tend to think of things in the abstract sense, so I don't seriusly worry about, say, the death of somebody close.

I guess it lnsulates me to an extent. Even though I know my grandma's not long for this world. :-(

And I definately have have a... "concern" about falling. Roofs and ladders I'm not really fond of and get nervous on, but not airplanes, ski-lifts, or the like. Let I dislike roller coasters and similar rides.

Reptiles and large insects alarm me but I don't worry about something crawling under my jammies every day. More of the abstract insulation, I guess.

If you mean "something fearful that is often in the forefront of your thoughs" I'd have to say flirting with the opposite sex when it's a stranger. I mean, I think about is constantly (let's face it; there are a fair amount of wonderful and attractive women both here and in real life) but I'm afraid of... going too far? Embarrassing myself? It turning serious, then she meets me and leaves disappointed?

I guess that's a way to describe it.

It's sort of a nameless, social-anxiety kind of fear.

I'm better at being in a relationship than getting into one, I guess. :-(

19. I've already been through something that I never thought I'd have
to face: Khashka's death.

It just knocked the wind out of me. It was so unexpected, and he was so young. I will always miss him...

So, I fear the death of people I love...

And I fear my own death, esp. if I am alone.
