What's your favorite pot munchies?
Edited on Fri Dec-05-08 04:45 PM by Stump
And while we're at it, how about your favorite stoner movies?

I must have Mountain Dew, Reese's Cups, and Ruffles with French Onion Dip.

As far as movies, Knocked Up was pretty good...the best thing I ever watched toasted was an episode of Wife Swap with little people mixed in. It was insanely funny at the time.

Anyhoo, I'd have to say food wise, a double double from In N Out and LOTS of fries.

Movies? I don't know. Maybe The Wall.

It's been a while since I fired up the Grim Reefer.

Shit, I think I take it back. Californians, back me up here: try a carne asada burrito from ANY taco stand in So Cal. Holy bejeesus, does it hit the spot.

8. ironically, I almost never get pot munchies
drinking makes me hungry though, and after a night of drinking I like a late night greasy breakfast.

If I eat after smoking, I just get sleepy and my buzz goes away.

38. Hmmm... I prefer McVites Chocolate Digestive Biscuits myself.
The stuff called biscuits here in the US... they're not biscuits at all. They're scones without sugar, raisins, currants and sultanas. And it's an acquired taste.

Mark.

Usually I don't keep all the other munchie stuff around so anything I can find that's good.

Favorite stoner movie? Amazon Women in the Avocado Jungle of Death. Hands down. TV shows.....Pee Wee Herman is always good.

On edit: Just discovered....Cone Heads is pretty good, too.

24. Many years ago, munchies were controlled with jelly donuts
There was an all night dough nut shop just down the street, and we would all pile into a car and go buy a bag of jelly donuts and cartons of milk.

Over the last few summers, I get fresh tomatoes from my garden, and make sliced tomatoes on white bread with mayonnaise and salt.

Some of the best movies I have seen while partaking were Wizards and Dark Star.

26. Pot works as an appetite supressant for me.
Yes, it's weird. I need to start smoking again, I'm gaining weight.

Another weird thing with me and MJ -- if I haven't smoked in a long time and I run into it, if I smoke too much I start compulsively cleaning house. Needless to say, a few of my friends learned that trick and invite me over every once in awhile. :)

28. Mini Pizzas
separate some english muffins and pop them into a toaster oven. When they are about 90% done, open the oven and put a drop of olive oil and some sauce on top (I like Prego with mini meatballs), any topping you may have (though I don't usually use any) and some cheese (almost any cheese works and using different kinds rocks!). Put back in and heat until cheese melts. They are freakin awesome and only take a few minutes to make :9

31. Pretty much anything you can get your hands on
tastes good when you're stoned . . . . . from what I can remember.

These days I get the munchies sober. And I don't usually HAVE munchy food in the house so I have to make some comfort food. And today it was angel hair pasta with whatever I wanted to throw in the spaghetti sauce.

Been thinkin' about pecan pie all night, though . . . . . good thing Costco's only carrying pumpkin this year.

Whipped cream would be real good on that imaginary slice of Pecan pie. . . . .and a real cup of hot coffee.

32. Everything
Once, some friends and I made the mistake of toking up before we went to the grocery store.

I found one friend eating ice cream out of a half-gallon container - with his hand.

Another was hiding behind a display, eating dry Pepperidge Farm Stuffing from the bag.

I made the mistake of wandering into the Bulk Foods section...............................

I know my grocer has made a LOT off me in the midst of a munchies fit.

35. It's been a long time for me
but potato chips (even Pringles) were always pretty good. That and Chinese food. I think it's the MSG.

Best stoner movie would have to be Dazed and Confused: "Mount Vernon, man. He grew it all over the country, man. He had people growing it all over the country, you know. The whole country back then was getting high. Let me tell you man, 'cos, 'cos, 'cos he knew. He was on to something man. He knew that it would be a good cash crop for the southern states, man. So he grew fields of it, man. But you know what? Behind every good man there's a woman. And that woman was Martha Washington, man. And every day George would come home. She'd have a big fat bowl waiting for him, man, when he'd come in the door man. She was hip, hip, hip lady, man.And she was real cool too. She'd harvest the crops, man. And that's what I'm talking about. She'd put in the, in the uh bushels and stuff and sell it, you know? Because they had to make ends meet and stuff. I mean they... What... Did you ever look at a dollar bill, man? There's some spooky stuff going on on a dollar bill, man. I mean, and it's green too."

420, 421, whatever it takes...

It was shown in a court of law that Pringles do not contain enough potato to be considered a "potato derived" snack.
