6. Yeah, I just googled it.
I must admit there is a part of me objecting to what I'd be apart of. But then there's a part that wants to learn chinese.

9. I'd be careful about calling the Kuomintang wimpy. You know how Maoism relies on the peasantry...
rather than the urban proletariat as is the case in classical Marxism and Marxism-Leninism (in this case there is a mixing of proletarian and peasant as Russia was only semi-industrialized)?

There is a reason for that. The original Communist Party of the early 1920s actually was based on urban workers (proles) but the KMT which eventually was driven off to Taiwan killed all of them in 1927 and Mao had to start over again, and since the worker's movement was literally dead he started over with peasants. Any way you slice it, you'd not be dealing with wimps.
