What would you like to say to your hairdresser?
I would like to say

The worst haircut I've ever had seems to have grown long enough so that it can be fixed. Please FIX IT!

I think she'll say "nope, it's not long enough yet. Were you going for butch or did it just happen to you?"

What would you like to say to your hairdresser?

1. "Number 3 please"
My hairstylist loves me. Easy money.

2. Since I am my own hairdresser, I pretty much say anything I want
to myself. And then I get really pissed, throw down the comb and storm out.

3. Slow down, goddammit!
The salon is only open a few days a week, but they have lots of customers, so my stylist tends to work on two customers at once. Last time he was running back and forth between a coloring job and my trim; guess who got short shrift? Dude was like a blur. Snip snip snip "excuse me"--dash--back--snip snip snip "excuse me". x(

6. It doesn't matter...
I've told my hairdresser, over the span of several occasions, I wanted something more hip, sexy, edgy, versatile and low-maintenance. I get the same haircut out of her regardless...it's not a good one.

7. Since no one has ever done my hair to my satisfaction,
I am my own hairdresser. I color, trim and style my own hair and get plenty of compliments. Plus, I am quite talented with hair since I was a wig stylist at one time.

12. Pleas tell me how!
I've always had to go home and fix their mistakes - my hair is curly and no one knows how to cut it! I can do the layers fine, I just like a nice even bob cut around the back and sides but can't do this myself. How do you do it?

BTW; I highlight & color my own hair (and for the most part cut it all myself) and my MIL (who hates me) told me that my hair has been looking awesome lately.

9. I say "thanks! You're awesome!" because she is. However, when I
had my cute little pixie cut 10 years ago, I went in to get it trimmed and the guy used the buzz clipper things for the back of my head. Not the neck part, but the back of the haircut part. So I wouldn't mind telling him he's an idiot who ruined my hair for a good few months.

10. I would say,
"When I said 'do what you did the last time' I actually meant what you did to ME (not your last appointment)." UGH!

13.  "You make me look good!"
I also tell her about all the women who stop me and want to know where I get my hair done because they love the color and the cut.
Plus my stylist is an absolute sweetheart of a person. We have a wonderful gabfest whenever I get my hair done.

14. "Why can't you cut my hair the same way every time?"
All I want is someone who gives me a haircut I like, and can repeat it again.

Seems like it should be possible.
