There Were Car Wrecks All Over The Place Due To Weather On I-540

last night!

I spent 45 min sitting on a freaking bridge in the mountains and watched wrecker after wrecker go by, I also slid and was just sure I was going to hit someone on a bridge last night. (Lots of bridges on this highway because they built it up as much as possible to keep the national forest from being as affected.)

Anyway, I listened to the news and they said maybe like 10 wrecks on both sides of the interstate which was backed up on both sides for miles and miles and miles.

A very cold and windy, and snowy night up there. Got over the pass and down into the river valley and it wasn't even raining. It was cold, but not a bit of snow.

Amazing what a little snow can do on a busy holiday weekend drive home...

1. BTW this was in Arkansas, not up north somewhere

and the snow on that interstate wasn't forecast to be anything like what it was...
