Poll question: Your favorite: "Love the music, hate the singer"?

Edit: "Singer as a 'singer'", not "singer as a person".

Updated to swap Prince for Wesley Willis (that was a trick question anyway).

1. The Smiths
Easily. Most of the bands you've listed I dislike the music along with the singing.

3. Pearl Jam
Good music, but Eddie Vedder always came off as a prick.

4. Bob Dylan

Genius composer/lyricist, but that whiny drone makes my ears hurt.

eta: I have nothing against him as a person (though that whole Pope thing is a bit creepy). It's his voice I dislike.

5. This.
His voice causes me visceral pain, seriously. Like someone's taking a fork to my central nervous system. x(

6. You mean, hate the singer as a person, or hate the singer as a singer?

7. Singer as a singer.
I should have added Prince but I try to keep him out of mind.

8. Good call.
Once I start humming Raspberry Berret, it's all over.

9. I'd say Axl Rose, but I also really hate GNR, so that doesn't count.

10. Gotta go with The Smiths
Morrisey is a pretentious whining git; Johnny Marr is brilliant.
