I steer away these days. I just don't want to for a variety of reasons, plus you always feel like a fucking loser the next day. That said... I defy you to tell me they aren't god damned fun.

To illustrate this point... do some drugs, and dance around to this and tell me you didn't have a good time.

2. They are, they're terrible!
Which is why HEyHEY don't touch em.

Well, I DO consume copius amounts of booze, but it's just part of my charm.

3. I'm sure they're fun.
But if I'm going to go to jail, I'd rather it be for something better than getting fucked up. So I stick to drinking. Anyhow, I have tend to have unexpected bad reactions to relatively predictable medical drugs, so steering clear of frequently adulterated substances of questionable potency is probably a good idea.

4. Ah, I'm in Canada... no one goes to jail for drugs.
That'd be too uncool.

5. I think in California you're supposed to get rehab the first time or something.
I don't really know the details.

6. There are all sorts of fun.....
...and I'm sure there are a lot of people who can derive it from drugs--even if it's just the drugs telling us they're fun.

I'm not so much into that. I'll have a Mike's Hard Lime or two, or put a little Kahlua in my milk, but that's as far as I go.

7. I'm presently on drugs for pain and I fucking HATE them.
I'm on oxycodone, plus fentanyl patches, for what I suspect is a totally shredded left rotator cuff. Anyone who becomes addicted to these narcotics for anything other than pain relief is out of their tree. I don't get this whole "euphoria" thing; instead, I get barely enough pain relief to exist without nearly passing out if I move the bad arm 2 millimeters too far. I also get cranky moods and a memory like swiss cheese.

I think I'd rather have ganja brownies but damn if I have the money or the connections. :(
