Fer real: I had some White Castle turkey stuffing yesterday (oh philboy....)
Edited on Sun Nov-30-08 03:54 PM by darkstar
We went to my wife's folks for late Thanksgiving yesterday. They made it from those frozen White Castles philboy is so fond of.

I guess it's not just my in-laws. Googling revealed tons of links like this:

We know how to live, suckers....

I mean, there was too much food of all kinds. I had a little--and thought it good beyond mere novelty value--but between healthy eating choices and so much else to sample, I didn't get seconds. But it definitely still possessed that "steamed bun, vaporized onion" thing that only WC can do, if you get my drift.

And I know that you do.

Oh, while I have you, check out what a softie I am. This put a lump in my throat. Not too many holiday seasons under my belt w/out my Mom and I have *always* related this song to motherhood vs. your typical love song:

Such reverence...

5. Beautiful....
They did such a nice job with the song.

A nice way to evoke memories of your mom...

Thank you for this, darkstar.

3. Wow! My SO would love this!
Too bad I'm not with him for the holidays, for the first time in three years... ;(

I love my mother's recipe, which I finally pried out of her, and this is probably too high in cholesterol, but what isn't for the holidays?

Bookmarking, anyway, since you loved it and it got rave reviews from the other cooks on that board... :-)
