2. My oldest cat has been doing that, too.
But I love her so I don't bring it up and we pretend it didn't happen. (She's the cat who sleeps with me).

4. What kind of dog do you have?
I'm curious, because someone told me Weimaraners do that frequently.

6. Bulldogs are (in)famous for this problem.
They are some of the gassiest dawgs known to man, I swear.

I did know a pit bull female, however, that should have probably triggered the call up of a haz-mat team. I swear the paint was melting sometimes with that poor dog, and she'd just lay there and look miserable. Something that bears remembering is that dogs' sense of smell is WAY more acute than ours. I can't EVEN imagine ground zero for a dog with a bad case of gas.

:scared:

10. Excellent description.
Jolly was an absolute sweetie that could chew up anything in a short time and her gas has become the stuff of legends.

You'd hear a rippling fart under the table and everybody would scramble for the door. Poor dog, we never did figure out why she produced such awful emissions and we tried everything we could to improve things. Charcoal, Greenies--you name it and we probably gave it a shot. She'd chew it up, swallow it, and produce another awful cloud.

She has been gone for many years and we STILL talk about that poor dog.
