Christopher Plummer is playing King Lear on Broadway!
Just read it in the Times today - starts Thursday, runs through April 18.

WOW!

At the Vivan Beaumont Theater at Lincoln Center.

Also has (I don't know any of these people) Barry MacGregor, Domini Blythe, Lucy peacock, Claire Jullien, Brent Carver, Geraint Wyn Davies.

I have to go! I love Plummer - what a briliant actor. Especially after hearing him do Shakespeare in Klingon.

I tried over the Internet to get tickets today, and it looks sold out, DANG!, but I'll see what I can find out at the theatre itself.

But I'm not in New York.

By the way a few of the other actors in the production are from the Stratford Festival Company (Stratford Ontario), specifically Lucy Peacock and Brent Carver. I'm a little vague on the others although I've heard of Geraint Wyn Davies.

Even with his great reputation Christopher Plummer does not get the accolades that he deserves.
