2. I haven't told you before...
but I really love and appreciate the Bobby Sands avatar. I retired Michael Collins till after baseball season(I know he would understand!)

Liked your Michael Collins as well. May add the Cubs to my sig line a bit later. But Bobby stays as my avatar. Had a helluva time getting it here. Long story, but a good friend did it for me. For a brief time, I had someone else acting as me on DU. It's okay, I trust him.

4. Bobby's death...
as well as the others,prompted to me to send a donation to Sinn Fein,which put me on an FBI list back then. These days,I'd probably be deported.

it did keep me from getting a job at the JFK library,though...which is rather ironic when you think about it.
