This mainly applies to actresses, but I also like a lot of strange and/or un-hip actors.

Renee Zellweger, Amanda Plummer, Kim Darby, Samantha Morton, Heather Matarazzo, Alison Janney ... and that just starts the list. Drew Barrymore is my favorite, because she's about as crazy as you can be without drawing the unwanted attention of mental health professionals and she can out-act nearly anyone in Hollywood.

Strangely, I am not so fond of Angelina Jolie. She seems to be perpetually hostile. Similar for Catherine Zeta-Jones. Perhaps I am wrong.

Looks don't count. Most actresses are at least decent-looking. New eye candy appears on the market weekly, but real talent is rare and appreciated.
