Worm alert NETSKY.C is on the loose

I am starting to get notices of e-mails with my address being infected.
It is a W32 worm so it is not my machine.

3. I think surfing using a UNIX variant, Linux, BSD, OSX and others

is the safest way to go these days. They are not 100%, but you lower your profile.

Have any of you tried using one of those live CD versions of Linux? You don't have to install it, you just boot from the CD and you are in business. Knoppix is one I hear a lot about, Gentoo is another but I don't see a live CD on their ftp site.
