question for people who know stretching to relieve muscle pain/tension
The problem area is my shoulder - actually the area between the bottom of my neck and the main big shoulder bone you can feel at the top of the socket. I hope you know where I mean. It is so desperately sore and hurts so much. Can you recommend some stretches? I've been doing the only one I know, where you kinda hunch it up and roll around, but it's not helping much. Thanks!

1. My PT says no neck rolling.
Turning the head from side to side and applying light pressure with the hand at the chin is what was recommended to me for neck/shoulder pain.

I highly recommend a few sessions with a competent PT.
