12. Late October (via adobe.com -- I was impatient and ordered the online download upgrade...

I probably should have bought the upgrade media package and wait 4 days for it to ship... :D

1. On a 64-bit processor (Windows only, yon Mac version is delayed until CS5), having 8GB to work with is nice.
2. Have a good graphics card as it uses OpenGL for rendering zooms and other viewing functions -- these are actually nice, and when you click 'fit to screen', they fixed the good where you'd have to change the size of the image window...
3. The tab-based format too time to get used to, and one can no longer drag'n'drop layers as easily (context menu only that I've seen so far)
4. Doesn't run any slower, though other people claims it has.
5. I like the smart stretch feature; I took a 1920x1440 image and turned it into a 1920x1200 desktop and, right now, I can't see what it took out. I'm usually good at spotting visual discontinuities too. Amazing stuff.
6. Seems to load just about as fast.

For me, definitely worth the upgrade cost.
