1. Why can't they make anything made of soy to taste good?

3. Well, soy sauce tastes good
And if you put enough of it on something, it can make it taste good enough to eat

6. Taste is subjective
and is a socialized and learned thing.

I use soy products every day, from soy milk to tofu to soy meat substitutes and love the taste of them, the way I cook and combine them anyway.

If you are prjudiced by carnivoristic mind set to "bad taste" of soy products then there is no way to make soy taste good to you.

Replacing meat with soy products would have a positive revolutionary effect on environment and health worldwide.

Let the carnivoristic flames begin.

8. Actually I've been rethinking the whole carnivore thing
I quit eating beef this year in disgust at the whole Mad Cow thing; now apparently there's some kind of flu in birds which makes me question chicken; fish is laden with mercury; I feel like I'm running out of things to eat. I have the feeling that an all-chocolate diet wouldn't be good for me. What's left to eat?

4. I get your joke but,
I disagree that soy sauce always tastes like soy sauce. I have 4 different varieties in my fridge right now and they all taste different. I also disagree with the theory that Tofu can taste like anything. IMO it always tastes like Tofu, which is pretty bland and unappetizing even when soaked in flavorings.

5. So of the four soy sauces
you have, I assume one of them tastes like soy sauce... but what do the other three taste like? Or are they all variations on the soy sauce theme?
A la different wines may taste different from one another, but they all taste like wine; wine never tastes like soy sauce.
