My congressman's office called today

..it seems there are two innaguration tickets with my name on them.

The problem is that there's me, Mrs. OBD, and the OBD kids (aged 4 & 11). I will have roughly 6 weeks to decide which of them I love the most.

2. Congress called me, and they left an effing message!

3. Oh wow, how cool is that!...

All I got today was an email from my congressman letting me know that he'd had over 100,000 requests for 400 tickets and that his office would be doing a lottery to see who got tickets. I won't know until some time in January. :wow:

I got a message; now I've left a message -- we'll see.

I'm leaning towards taking one of the kids -- something she can tell her grand kids about some day when I'm dead & buried.

8. heck, I know how excited my son was to be in DC for a field trip right after

the election! (we got to see Obama's motorcade go by on the way to the White House for the tour.)
