One day we're at the grocery store, and she can't find her change purse, so she starts handing me stuff to hold as she roots around in her purse: compact....brush and comb...Kleenex... Browning 9 mm. ... car keys.... BROWNING 9 MM!

She was born before Independence, and survived the Civil War (both Irish), and the woman refuses to live or go anywhere unarmed, if at all possible. It wasn't the first time something like that's happened--- just the 1st time it ever happened to ME.:P
