I'm watching Forrest Gump right now
I never wanted to see this movie for some reason, probably because I did not know what it was about and also, I have an autistic son who has similar tendencies. I am so crying right now because the parallels to Iraq are so intense! We should not be there! So many innocents have died for Bush's* vendetta.

2. For me it's a flashback
I remember watching the CBS news in the sixties with the dead bodies being carried out of the jungle......my Mom is a yellow dog Dem, my Dad a Repub. I heard the debate at the dinner table nightly. What was missing was the interest in the fact that so many had died.

3. It's a beautiful movie....
it lets you relive so many amazing moments in history, and puts them in a really human perspective. I was telling a friend earlier tonight that I rate a good movie as one that mad eme laugh ot loud, get really angry, or have a good cry... very few make me do all of the above, and Forest Gump is one of them.
