Ever have a great idea for a post-apocalyptic or alternate history story,

but don't know what to do with it?

For instance:

The oceans rise so that FL is inundated and the ocean comes up to Columbia, SC.

So what?

The Great Depression of 1930's never happened.

So What?

Had to even scrounge a novella there, IMO.

1. I have had such an idea
but I think I know what I want to do with it ;)

I've developed the idea quite a bit, so I don't think I could explain it all that easily here. It does involved Sacred Geometry, GIS, newage concepts, 2012 and some other weirdness :P

5. I'm in Michigan, we have a big one here every year
Sure, it's not as big as San Diego, but we do have our share.

However, I want a Photoshop skilled colorist. Any suggestions?

6. Right, forgot about Michigan's. I don't keep up with comics much anymore...
As for getting a PS colorist, either contact the publishers you'd want to publish your work, buy a copy of Comics Journal for the ads, or find a professional PS-users messageboard. I have a link at home (at work right now searching the USGS database for aerial images) for a designers' site that includes a nice gallery and messageboard. Other than that, maybe see if there's a database with Adobe for people offering work. Or spend a bunch of time on Elfwood or deviantart looking for an artist ;)

I only know one person on another site that is a skilled colorist, though I don't know if she uses PS or not. All I have is a MySpace link and no email: http://www.myspace.com/candacejschinzler

Hope that helps :)
