Lately, though, it seems that you can buy your own cleaner for less than $200 and just pony up on the suds.

3. It's a sound investment. I have dogs so I own one.
You can't go out and rent one whenever the dog makes a mess.

4. Two, actually.
A Bissell Big Green Clean Machine that I've had for a number of years now. With cats and dogs - it's been a lifesaver.



Recently I got the top of the line model of the Bissell Proheat - the Big Green, while nice and decent for a long time wasn't GREAT. With the amount of use it gets I decided to upgrade. The new one is AMAZING. I love it a lot.

8. My Hoover steam cleaner is my best friend...
couldn't have done without it during our dog's puppy months. I think she's finally over it, but it was great being able to just suck it up.
