Usually it takes 45 minutes. The highway was covered in black ice. There was a nine mile back up because some trucks couldn't make it up the few hills we have.

(there was another place around chgo--north maybe--that was on the 10 o'clock)

the bigger story was all the trucks creeping along at 1 mph in indiana to michigan

it looked horrible.

I think these clippers we've been having caught everyone by surprise; they weren't expecting ice this early. Salt trucks were out early this morning, though, in A2; I saw them on my way to and from the gym at 6 a.m.

5. I'm sure it's better this morning. They didn't

even have the salters out by 11pm last night. It looks like this could be a repeat of last year's winter. All the really nasty driving was late at night. yuck.

I give myself lots of room. I'm never alone though. I have a cb radio and lots of help if I need it. :)
