So the project I've been working on since April ended on Friday so I had to start making the longer commute to my home office this morning. I'm happy to see some of the people I don't get to see because I only go to my office once a week for my paperwork and supplies and we're on opposite ends of the punch clock for when we're at the office.
My first order of business is to empty the 3rd van of its equipment into my van (I would then drive the spare van across the state to our corporate office) and as I exit the building my attention is immediately drawn to a bumper sticker (I don't have any on my van): It's a McCain sticker!
The guy who put it on erupts in laughter and tells me the other guy got them to put on my van months ago but we never crossed paths. I laugh my ass off and think about leaving it on to take a pic for DU, but decide to rip it off while it's still fresh and stick it to the dumpster.
After the removal I turn my van around so my rear door faces the now spare van's rare door so I can begin to switch equipment. Once I'm done I pile everything inside the elevator and put it away in our store room. Once I'm done I happen to look out the window and another bumper sticker catches my eye.
That fucker put one on my front bumper too.
It went on the dumpster too.
ps: The running joke for at least a month was that someone had put a McCain sticker on my van.... and today it's even more funny. Apparently, everyone's been waiting for this moment.
