Husband home from Iraq in 19* days!

*Approximately. Talked to him tonight and they had the psych evaluation today. When the group was asked how they felt in general, he stood up and said (paraphrasing): "Pissed off that I had to be here for 10 months fighting so Bush could tell his daddy he finally found some oil."

Couldn't fit it in the title... but "Ask me anything!"

Question:
Do most of his fellow soldiers feel the same or do they still think Bush is the boy king? I hear most of the military still have faith
in him and think they are fighting to free the Iraq people. I just hope they have come to their senses and come home safely and vote the bastards out.

is full of Bush-haters. I guess they were all cheering him for speaking his mind. He and I have both been anti-Bush and against the Iraq War since day one. And he is very outspoken, to a point where he has been reprimanded many times over the years.

That took guts, I know, and I hope he doesn't get in trouble for it. I've heard that many in the military are afraid to say anything at all critical of *, that they're really being crushed as far as that's concerned. Give your husband a big thank-you hug from all of us at DU!
