It's the weirdest feeling. It first started out with a little numbing, then I lost the use of it on my keyboard. It sticks out the side of my hand but I can my other hand and push it back. I can't bend it either but I can move the pinky around and shape it like one of those wire toys.
I got an emergency visit with the clinic at 2:30 today. I will update this thread and let you all know how it goes.
1. My chiropractor said that numbing of upper extremities
is due to the upper back being out of alignment. I have had numbing off and on of various fingers on either hand and it eventually goes away. I had numbing in most of my right foot while I was going through sciatic treatment and it also eventually went away. That was likely due to pressure on the nerves from the vertebrae being slightly out of alignment, too.
As I'm neither a doctor nor a chiropractor I can't really say for sure if that's all that is wrong with your finger. I hope the visit goes smoothly and it's nothing serious :)
after I am done typing a sentence. I chat in political chat rooms in yahoo and the chat can get very intense and I think I may even slam my elbow on the hard desk sometimes.
The doctor didn't give me a name of the condition, but I am going to research it. Thanks for the info!
10. That's probably it, I got it from doing that too!
It goes away if you retrain yourself not to hold your arms like that, and there are some stretches that make it feel better. I'm sure you'll find them on the Internet.
