Redskins Rally Rags!

From Riggoworld-->

Oops, this promotion might be a little late but better late then never. According to ESPN 980, the first 50,000 fans on Sunday night will receive an official Redskins rally rag (yea we love the name). By now we all know what happened during the Steelers game, but let’s just put that behind us. My question is how many of those first 50,000 will be Cowboys fans? Let’s hope it is not a lot because all they will do is throw the towel away.

I am confident for this Sunday night, we will show the world what kind of fans we are. Consider the Monday night game as a warm up. After all this is the NFC East, this is the Cowboys and we always show up for Dallas week.

1. There will be SOME Cowboys fans there.
But you can bet there will be far MORE Skins fans there. Dallas week always makes em turn out...
Steelers are not a big rivalry....

8. Come on. We're talking about a team whose male fans dress up in mumus and pigs noses.

It's a disgrace to the NFL, if you ask me. I'd say we move the Skins to the Big East. Or MAC. Or something more of their level.

7. Anyone living east of the Potomac and outside the DC Beltway cannot root for the Redskins.
No true Marylander would ever disrespect his or herself like that.

9. I live outside the beltway dude.
But I AM a Washingtonian--In fact have a Metro stop not too far from my house. Anyone who lives near the Metro should NOT be rooting for the icky Ravens....

13. The reason the Metro exists is because whoever designed Washington's street grid is a satist.

You should take that as a hint that the city should simply not be visited by any type of sane person. Ever.

17. Baltimore's Washington Monument predated DC's Washington monument by 33 years.

Ever been to DC's aquarium? It's a joke--my fish tank is more exciting. And let's not even get into comparing Nationals Park to Oriole Park now.

Hell, DC was still swampland by the time Baltimore was a bustling port city. I don't think Baltimore has much to envy regarding DC.

19. DC is like Baghdad.
You've got your green zone in the middle of the city that is nice, but the rest is just a hellish wasteland.

23. Umm thats Baltimore dude
What outside of the Inner Harbor is nice?
In DC you have the federal area, Capitol Hill, Georgetown, Cleveland/Woodley Park, Dupont Circle, Adams Morgan...and now the waterfront down by Nationals stadium is becoming quite nice..not to mention the revival of the U street corridor. DC is not as bad as people think it is.

20. We should just take back D.C.
hell the land used to belong to Maryland. While we're at it, let's annex Delaware, and that little part of VA on our Eastern Shore.

And yeah, our National Aquarium rocks. My friend from CA said so. lol

21. Sure, but does DC have a Bromo-Seltzer Tower?

Well?

(Actually, you'd think at some point during the last eight years, they would have put up a copycat "Alka-Seltzer Tower"...)
