If it was me and it has been with 'cubicle people'; tell them to fuck off, in a nice way!

Catch them at smoke break or outside the building and ask them if you can talk to them for a minute and then relay exactly what "the mean asshole" is doing (without revealing it's THEM you are talking about) and ask them how THEY would handle it! ;) The best way to make friends with someone is to ask them a favor. It sounds crazy, but it works. Try it. ;)

I just want to say to warrior1, that mean people are sometimes just imitating their family members. They aren’t trying to be mean or hurtful; they just don’t know how to act any other way.

But mostly know that they have no control over your feelings, they are your feelings and you are no different after their crap than you were before. That and fuck the assholes who ruin your day, just fuck them.

5. Isn't it strange how a single sentence can ruin an entire day

I received the most passive aggressive comment of the year from this women at the gym the other day when I was jumping on the treadmill after she had finished and told her not to worry about wiping it down. It didn't mind because she hadn't broken a sweat and there wasn't a drop of moisture on the machine. The weird part is that what she said didn't even make sense, but still bugged the hell out of me. I SHOULD have told her to cram the menopausal bullshit when dealing with strangers because not everyone is as LEVEL HEADED as I am....

Anyway, mean people suck. Though nothing is worse then realizing you were that mean person for someone on a certain day.
