4. Went hunting online to come close

This dog doesn't even come close to matching his beauty but he is a bit more shorthaired for a Retriever like this guy and has a similar body habitus. He has the more rust coloring but his tail is chopped off due to a birth defect..which comes in handy around coffee tables and brushing time.
Whenever I am out with him, though, I get a lot of compliments...people saying he is one of the most beautiful retrievers they have seen. He may actually have some Chow in him (I've been told it got into retriever bloodlines way back) but he is gorgeous and has a beautiful smile and a very pathetic frown.

When he chases a ball, he cantors like a horse.

By the way, Bisbee has a docked tail and it does keep the brickabrack safe. :-)
