Did my good deed for the day- helped a frantic dog owner.
I was driving home from the city and I came upon two beautiful dogs standing in the middle of a major road. At first I thought somebody had "dropped" them off in the country. I pulled over and managed to coax them to the shoulder (thanks to the pigs ears I had bought for my pooches). One was an English bulldog and the other a Wiener miner(sp), and very well behaved with tags on the collar. I sat there with them for 10 minutes trying to figure out how to get them into my truck to drive them home.
A car pulled up with the frantic owners, seems that they had bolted out a gate earlier in the day. The poor woman was crying and almost about to loose it. I was talking to her husband and he said these dogs were her only "children" and she was close to a nervous breakdown. The dogs were very happy to see their humans.

Damn I feel good!

3. Wow, that's freaky
Not 5 minutes ago I helped a neighbor catch her off-leash dog. She'd been trying to catch him for about an hour. I think I have a gift for taming dogs, all I did was call his name and clap and he came right to me within 10 seconds.

5. another good story...
Sounds like the dog was "teasing" the owner.... They do that sometimes, thinking their owner's call is an invitation to "play."
