2. LOL
There is always that speck of doubt that creeps in with the NFL, isn't there?

Any game with my team where they are supposed to blow out the other team ends up being a nail-biter.

I would say the Giants should win. Good game right now, 27-24 Giants.

4. Giants should have challened that fumble
They lost 5 yards on that play, the off sides would have given them first down.

11. Certainly outplayed the Eagles
I don't think there was enough evidence to overturn that over the line call, but that wasn't what lost the game. And I have no problems complaining about officials when I think they were bad.

18. Eales had - bad play calling, could not stop the Giants O.
Kind of amazint it was so close - the Eagles could actually have won with better plays and execution in the 4th quarter.

6. Frekkin Eagles.
All I asked was for them to beat the Giants and let the Cowboys have a slim chance. Even the damn Giants cooperated, seemingly trying to give the game away. But would Andy Reid and the Eagles take it? Of course not! McNabb could have run harder on that final fourth down play!!

Cudos to Coughlin for knowing the rule book better than the officials, though. That challenge was the difference in the game. I guess my opinion of his coaching ability has completed its 180.

7. It's a good thing the Phils won, because the Eagles are the most frustrating team ever
Edited on Mon Nov-10-08 12:45 AM by mvd
The Phils took away the sting a little. It's the same old non-answers from Reid in the press conference. He and McNabb should be let go, and the rebuilding should start IMO.

8. I might be wrong, but McNabb is one HELL of a asset.
Maybe he's being managed/led wrong?

10. He's not what he used to be
Edited on Mon Nov-10-08 12:52 AM by mvd
It's not just management. In the past, he might have pulled out a game like this. He's also too happy after losing.

But McNabb AND Reid should go IMO.

12. Well then, that's a shame.
Is he complicit in his success and contract?

13. Not sure what you mean
I don't see any kind of complicity. McNabb doesn't have very good receivers to throw to, so it's not all his fault. :hi:

14. You said he was "too happy after losing".
I didn't really know where to go with that.

15. It just means that I'm not sure he cares much anymore
Not sure Reid does either, from those tired press conferences. Hard to be optimistic about the Eagles right now.

16. If they're buying into not caring about each point, each loss
then screw them.

I had a lot of respect for McNabb. What a QB. What a player.

17. Maybe McNabb could get new life with another team
He's lost a step, but I wouldn't count him out yet.

9. Really?
Last I checked, they were 72-90, and nowhere near anything.

Oh - wrong Giants. Right.
