Want to see some eye popping dance steps?
This is a rehearsal of a Mexican polka; the dancers are in shabby practice sweats.

I never of it having flamenco influences, but I guess you're right!

Thinking back, I realize that many Mexican dances have flamenco influences.

A common euphemism for dancing in Mexico is "sacar polvo"

(kicking up the dust).

5. Here is another polka called "The Crane"
Because they claim it is claimd it was inspired by the crane's mating dance (South Texas, Rio Grande Valley)
