The good news is that LK told me what he wants for Christmas. The bad news is that it's not for sale
He wants a telescope, which would be cool because I planned on buying him one.

5. This is going to sound really Debbie Downer of me, but your quote
reminded me of the 'end of the world' hoopla that surrounded the activiation of the Large Hadron Collider this summer. I wonder if there are children out there who processed those headlines about micro- black holes and really did develop a fear of being swallowed. I wouldn't have admitted at the time, but when I was tiny I had some genuine but irrational fears of things like that...

(Caveat: This is a general comment, and is in no way intended to be LK-specific.)
